The 3rd Annual Halloween Party, held on October 27, 2010, inside the Hero Dawn base, turned out to be a smashing success! I found myself inside the newly designed costume | event room, mingling with a great crowd of informed people. Our theme for the event was the Rocky Horror Picture Show
The fright night was kicked off with DJ Pheonyx, of the Cape Radio, and trivia related to Halloween. We paid lots of winners, but I think Valara Conahey, of Grey Enterprises, had the biggest smile as she walked away counting her shiny influence won by answering the most trivia questions correctly.
After guests bobbed for apples and pulled a few good pranks, it was time to get ready for judging the General Halloween costumes. And let me tell you, the array of creativity impressed this hard-to-please SG Captain! Take a look at the winners posted below:
General Halloween Costume Contest
Mecha-Stripe MKV, Goodnight’s Kiss, and Enchanter walked away with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, while Lagomorpheus and Bunny Kick were chosen for honorable mentions.

After final judging of the first costume contest and snapshots, I offered more trivia questions but these were related to the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Questions like:
- Do you know which female rocker was in the broadway play version?
- What was the sequel for Rocky Horror?
- How many movies are referenced in the song – Science Fiction/Double Feature?
- What dance did Brad want to do after the Time Warp?
- The climatic ending with the creature was a tribute to what movie?
Kick yourself right now, if you know the answers to these trivia questions, because you could have walked away with $50,000,000 for answering them all correctly!
The opportunity may be gone now to win the $50 million… but attend our 4th Annual Halloween event, next year, and make me pay out more cash!

After final judging of the second costume contest and snapshots, I offered more trivia questions but these were related to Horror movies.

- Name the team who helped kill the vampires in Lost Boys and its upcoming sequel?
- Name the 3 most famous female horror movie characters.
- Which horror movie character has died the most? HINT: It’s not Jason!
- Who is Cassandra Petersen better known as?
- What song did young Frankenstein and the good doctor sing and dance to?
Originally, we intended to pay out $5,000,000 per correct answer but people were having so much fun, I decided to up the ante and pay $10,000,000 per correct answer. This really got the guests into the trivia-answering mood and I happy to report that I handed out millions of influence!
After the costume contests were complete, it was time for Hide and Seek!
Find Rocky Horror Somewhere In Paragon City
Since the 3rd Annual Halloween Party theme was The Rocky Horror Picture Show
How hard was it to find him? You had to look in all directions; his hiding spot was not easily found. Where was he? Take a look at the pictures below:
As you can see, he was hovering above the ground, behind a billboard. Only his feet dangled below the billboard to be recognized by those seeking his hiding spot! So when I said you had to look in all directions… this included looking UP as well.
It took 20 minutes or better for Rocky Horror to be located by Synaptic Disruption and in order to receive his prize, he had to bring Rocky Horror back to the Hero Dawn Halloween party, inside the base, and collect his winnings from yours truly. Nice hunting there Synaptic!

The Time Warp Board Game
To end the evening, guests participated in Hero Dawn’s Time Warp board game; a rendition of the SORRY Game by Hasbro
The objective of the game was to be the first to get to the winner’s podium by avoiding the brown squares and brown barrels. While the barrels would only make you step back 2 paces, the dark brown tiles would send you back to the start line.
If lady luck was on your side and you ended up with a roll of the dice that put you on a super group hologram — you won $10,000,000 influence, instantly! If you landed on a square with 2 crystals, you could proceed forward 2 extra paces.
We had a great turn out of party guests to play the game and received some great praise for putting the board game together. Amazingly enough — several players DID land on the super group hologram and won instant cash! But alas, the grand prize winner of the Time Warp game was Gravimetrix and our congratulations go out to her.

Final Thoughts
Agent Goat and I have a blast putting these Halloween events together and we’re happy to see them being enjoyed by all. This event was extra special because it was held in the Hero Dawn Base; specifically the newly designed costume | event room.
